LABELS Global incubator
Frameworks for Developing Capabilities
ECOSYSTEM VLG World programs organize knowledge, capabilities, resources and projects around major fields of action.
Some programs are built around Labels that structure a field, connect different initiatives and progressively develop the capabilities required.
Others are cross-cutting and can operate across several fields simultaneously.
Programs evolve through research, identified needs, experimentation, territories and knowledge gained from the field.
Knowledge → Capabilities → Programs → Projects → Experimentation → Deployment → Learning → Evolution
SUPER LABELS
Super Labels bring together multiple fields and programs that share a common capability domain.
They connect issues that are often addressed separately but interact in the real world.
EARTH
Earth Systems · Planetary Dynamics · Resilience
EARTH brings together programs dedicated to understanding, preserving and strengthening the resilience of major Earth systems.
The approach focuses on systems, mechanisms and their interactions, rather than organizing them solely around their consequences.
WATER
Water, water resources, access, cycles, uses, treatment and the resilience of water systems.
Discover WATER →
FOREST
Forests, vegetation, soils, ecological continuity, forest resources and the resilience of terrestrial ecosystems.
Discover FOREST →
OCEANS
Oceans, marine systems, resources, ocean circulation, ecosystems and associated capabilities.
Discover OCEANS →
CITIES
Cities and urban territories considered as complex systems connecting populations, resources, infrastructure, environment and collective capabilities.
Discover CITIES →
EARTH SHIELD
Exploration of dynamics that may influence the conditions of Earth’s protection and resilience.
The program may explore solar activity, solar eruptions and storms, Sun–Earth interactions, the magnetosphere, the geomagnetic field, magnetic pole dynamics, the exposure of infrastructure and living systems, and planetary resilience.
Discover EARTH SHIELD →
HUMAN
Life · Health · Fundamental Needs · Human Capabilities
HUMAN brings together programs related to the conditions required for life, health, dignity and the development of human capabilities.
HEALTH
Health, prevention, living environments and capabilities that help preserve or improve health conditions.
Discover HEALTH →
WASH
Water, sanitation and hygiene as fundamental capabilities required for health and dignity.
Discover WASH →
FOOD
Food, access to food resources, production and food resilience.
In development
HEARTH
Communities · Resources · Autonomy · Local Capabilities
HEARTH focuses on the conditions that enable people and communities to live, learn, produce, transmit knowledge and develop capabilities locally.
It progressively brings together programs related to autonomy, resources, knowledge transmission and community capabilities.
ABUNDANCE
Learning, knowledge transmission and the development of accessible and reproducible capabilities.
Discover ABUNDANCE →
DIGITAL
Digital Systems · Relationships · Security · Governance
DIGITAL brings together programs dedicated to digital environments and the capabilities required to understand, use, secure and govern them.
LOLS — LIFE ON LINE SPHERE
Exploration of relationships, behaviors, interactions and human dynamics within digital environments.
Discover LOLS →
CYBERSECURITY
Protection of people, organizations, infrastructure, information and capabilities within digital environments.
Discover CYBERSECURITY →
GOVERNANCE
Exploration and development of governance models adapted to digital, distributed and evolving systems.
Discover GOVERNANCE →
CROSS-CUTTING PROGRAMS
Some programs are not limited to a single Super Label.
They connect multiple fields, territories or types of capabilities.
SANCTUARY
Integrated Territorial Management
SANCTUARY develops territorial approaches that consider people, nature and animals together.
It connects the needs, uses, resources, vulnerabilities and capabilities present within the same territory.
Discover SANCTUARY →
NEUTRALITY
Neutrality · Continuity · Protection
NEUTRALITY explores the conditions required to create and maintain spaces, mechanisms or capabilities of neutrality, particularly in sensitive, unstable or conflict-affected environments.
Discover NEUTRALITY →
SCA — SCIENCE OF CAPABILITY ARCHITECTURES
Research · Architectures · Capabilities
SCA is the research program dedicated to the study and development of capability architectures.
Its work can contribute to programs, projects, governance models and experiments developed throughout the ecosystem.
Discover SCA →
CUB — LOCAL INCUBATORS
Incubation · Territories · Professions · Capabilities
The CUB program supports the local incubation of projects and their adaptation to territorial realities.
It connects projects, knowledge, professions, know-how, resources and local capabilities to facilitate experimentation and implementation.

A LIVING PORTFOLIO
ECOSYSTEM VLG World programs do not constitute a closed catalogue.
New programs can emerge from research, observed needs, experimentation, territories or newly developed capabilities.
Some are already active. Others are under development or exploration.
Projects then enable these frameworks to become concrete experiments and actions.
