PROJECT SUPPORT

PROJECT SUPPORT

From Idea to Operational Capability

CUB — Local Incubators supports the development of projects at different stages of maturity.

Support may begin with an idea, a territorial challenge, a research outcome, an existing capability, or an already structured project.

The objective is to help project leaders progressively build initiatives that are coherent, viable, autonomous and adapted to their context.

Learning and Capability Development

When necessary, project leaders may be directed towards training resources, knowledge or learning pathways that help strengthen the capabilities required to develop their projects.

These resources may come from within the ecosystem or from relevant external programmes and training opportunities.

Learning is not separated from the project: it directly supports its development.

Project Structuring

CUB can support the initial stages of project structuring:

Idea → Challenge → Need → Capability → Model → Experimentation → Project

This phase may help clarify:

the purpose of the project, its context, its beneficiaries, the capabilities required, its organisation, governance, potential partners and the initial conditions for implementation.

Modelling and Documentation

Depending on the needs of the project, support may also include:

  • project modelling;
  • business model development;
  • business plan development;
  • governance;
  • development strategy;
  • presentation documents;
  • pitch preparation;
  • partner identification;
  • funding strategy preparation;
  • documentation required for deployment.

Incubation and Experimentation

Once sufficiently structured, a project may enter an incubation or experimentation phase.

Depending on its nature, it may be connected to a CUB — Local Incubator, a LABELS — Global Incubator programme, the ANGELS network, a branch of ECOSYSTEM VLG world, or external partners.

Incubation provides a space in which a project can be tested, adapted and strengthened before broader deployment.

Existing Projects

CUB can also support projects that are already under development.

In this case, the objective is not necessarily to rebuild the project, but to identify what already exists, the capabilities available, what may still be missing, and the conditions required to enable the next stage of development.

Terms Adapted to Each Project

Not every project requires the same level or type of support.

Some resources may be freely or openly accessible.

Other forms of support may require dedicated expertise, incubation, partnership, specific resources or contractual arrangements.

The terms of collaboration, financing, intellectual property, potential participation and value sharing are defined according to the nature of each project and before any commitment is made.
